We are certainly living in sobering times. With all that's been going on, the world is desperately in need of people of integrity, compassion and clarity of purpose to bring God-inspired solutions to society. 

Simply put...the world needs what God put inside of you.

There comes a time in life when we've gone through enough to know we were meant for more.

Something keeps telling us that there is more inside than the world has yet to see. That there is more to Life than what we're currently experiencing.

So much more to do...
So much more to give...
So many more people to impact...
So much more to have...
And so much more to be.

But the contradiction of life keeps smacking us in the face...the contradiction of what we feel on the inside versus what keeps showing up in our lives everyday.

Even on our best days, something is still missing.
We love God...but unfulfilled.
We obey His Word the best we can...but unfulfilled.
We fast and pray...but unfulfilled.
We make good money...but unfulfilled.
We're even annointed..but still unfulfilled.

It's like an annoying itch that we can't scratch.

That inner nudge keeps telling you that the world has yet to see the greatest version of you.

And that nudge may very well be right.

So...I beg of you...WHATEVER you do...please do not silence that nudge.

Please do not shut down those inner yearnings. 
Why? 

Because I believe that its your very DNA crying out for manefestation in the earth. It's your unique gift-mix, 
your game-changing value, your innate super-hero looking for development and expression. 

Simply put, I believe its God's "more" for your life, searching for a landing strip.

Now a Little Bit About Me...

Back in 2013, I reached a breaking point. 

I had spent the last 6 years building my own law practice.

Although my practice was thriving…
Although my clients loved me…
Although I was getting great results…
I wanted to FIRE myself.
Although I was the boss, I wanted to fire myself.
Why?

Because I didn't have the courage to just quit!
I had reached a critical point in my career as a lawyer and a business owner.
I reached a point where the lack of fulfillment that was gnawing on my insides started crying out louder than any other voice.

I reached a point where the dream of building a renowned law firm was no longer worthy of my blood, sweat and tears.

I reached a point where I got completely tired of rowing against the tide…upstream…with a spoon.

Why was I working so hard? Is this what I’m really supposed to be doing, even though I’m good at it?

I also battled an internal tug-of-war between ministry and the marketplace. I knew from early in my nearly 30-year walk with the Lord that I was called into ministry. My love for God and love for business many times seemed at odds with each other.

That day, in June 2013, sitting at my desk, in my office, I wished I could say “AdoLisa, you’re fired!” so that I can have an excuse not to deal with the real issue…

…that what I had given everything to build, was not really the path for me. I felt like a fish out of water in my own law firm. Something was missing. Something was off. Something was misaligned. And I had no idea what.

Well, I didn’t fire myself that day. And I did not abruptly quit. But what I did do, is start on a journey. A journey into understanding me on a deeper level, what makes me tick, what brings me fulfillment, what was God’s plan for my life and where my deep desires and drive to be successful fit into all of it.
A journey into the meaning of life.
Since 2013, I changed my career focus, started a ministry for women in the marketplace, was ordained a minister of the Gospel and a prophet, launched 3 businesses and another law practice more congruent with my passions and natural giftings.

And what I've learned along the way has been astounding.

One of the greatest things I learned was that God wants me to be blessed. That it is His desire that I live an abundant life… on this side of eternity.

Leading Ladies for Christ Monthly Meeting

Sounds simple. But it was so hard for me to really believe this at first, especially because of all the hell that was going on in my life. Not to mention, I had to overcome feeling guilty that it was un-Christ like to want more out of life or be highly motivated in getting it.

It took me YEARS to finally believe that one thing on a deep level… God wants me to live an abundant life here on earth. A life where I am using all the gifts He put inside of me to be a blessing to the world and be abundantly compensated for it. A life where my passion and gifts are aligned. A life full of love, healthy and emotionally whole. It took me YEARS to finally believe that that life was for me.

You see, we can never have what we don’t believe we can have.
Believing deep down inside that the Creator of all things actually wants YOU to live an abundant life [Mark 10:10] is the first step to seeing your dream life become a reality.

It’s the very first step for a RESET.
